By OFW editor: Katrina Monroe

I don’t know about you, but when I write, I need music in my ears. It keeps the voices in line. But did you know that writers also inspire music? Below are ten songs I’ve found in my Youtube travels that are obviously inspired by things literary. Each title is a hyperlink to a corresponding video on Youtube.com. So, take a break.  Enjoy.

“Sylvia Plath”
by Ryan Adams

“1984”
by David Bowie

“Brave New World”
by Iron Maiden

“Ender Will Save Us All”
by Dashboard Confessional

“Narnia”
by Steve Hackett

“White Rabbit”
by Jefferson Airplane
